Benjamin Stephens, M.D. is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with a special interest in refractive cataract surgery and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. As an active outdoor person, he appreciates the importance of good vision and its effect on quality of life. Dr. Stephens is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
Dr. Stephens earned a degree in Economics at Oklahoma State University and went on to medical school at the University of Oklahoma. He completed residency at West Virginia University and returned to his home state of Oklahoma where he practiced for five years before transitioning to California. Dr. Stephens has performed over 5,000 eye surgeries and is passionate about preserving and restoring patient’s vision.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog, hiking, cycling, and playing the guitar.

Dr. Heather Chen studied Biomedical Engineering at University of Southern California and was valedictorian of her Viterbi School of Engineering class.
